Multi-Stage TYPO3 Setup at an autoscaling Multi-Instance Cloud Environment (AWS Fargate)

Running TYPO3 in a multi-instance setup presents some challenges.

The infrastructure has to be provisioned, media, caches and database centralized and the delivery of images realized via CDN.

Furthermore, content has to be transferred from the editorial cluster (STAGE) to the production cluster (LIVE).

In this talk we want to talk about automated infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Concourse CI, deployment of containers using Concourse CI and AWS Fargate as well as the sync process for TYPO3 data from STAGE to the LIVE cluster.

Afterwards, we will be happy to go into the challenges around TYPO3 that such a setup brings with it.
